Job Summary:

The Assembly Technician/Builder will assemble machinery, equipment and subassemblies following blueprints and other written and/or verbal specifications along with understanding the overall machine design and purpose. Once the custom made equipment is shipped to the client, you will have the opportunity to travel, set-up and train clients on their piece of equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, sub-assemblies, and more according to directions.
Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
Accurately levels the machine prior to assembly.
Uses various machines and hand tools (torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, air tools, gauges blocks, and other precision measuring devices) to accomplish assigned tasks, maintains close tolerances, and insures proper operation.
Drills, taps, and reams holes.
Operates overhead crane to position large components or workpieces.
Troubleshoots equipment problems, develops repair plans, and repairs equipment.
Inventories tools, parts, and supplies: contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
Prepares equipment for testing, inspection, and operation in a proficient and safe manner.
Performs run-off test for the inspector.
Operates electrical test equipment including multi-meters, RPM counters, and sound meters.
Performs basic tool and machine maintenance.
Domestic and foreign travel as needed for set-up and repair of machinery.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Detail-oriented and consistent.
Works will as a productive member of a team.
Ability to properly maintain and perform repairs on equipment.
Basic ability in mathematics, reading or writing.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Electrical Assembly – Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics then wire machines accordingly and connect electrical components to the controls.
Painting
Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks for most of the workday.
Must be able to lift up to 50-75 pounds at a time.
Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
Must wear eye protection and safety footwear.

Inside Sales Specialist

Salary – $50,000 – $65,000 per year

As the leading provider in this niche market, our business is growing, and we need flexible, experienced team members committed to helping us broaden and innovate CAM’s client base.

 

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a hard-working and dedicated individual to help grow our domestic client base. You will be responsible for strengthening relationships with current and prospective clientele and creating opportunities with new clients in markets throughout the US by communicating via telephone, email, and social media.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for new business growth and development including researching, prospecting, scheduling client introductions, preparing presentations, proposals and bid specifications to strategically win new business
Follow up outreach to current and prospective clients throughout the US
Administrative and marketing support to complete the sale process
Proactively source new business through traditional and nontraditional channels
Perform virtual and on-site client needs assessments
Meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
Keep abreast of changes in technology and industry trends and understand how it applies to our clients and prospects

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Efficient time management skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
High organizational skills

 

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Business/technical degree a plus but not required
Persuasive skills via phone communication
Positive attitude and the ability to handle long sales cycle
Strong listening and relationship building skills
Knowledge of CRM software
Social Media Savvy
Competitive background, we need passionate, highly motivated driven people

Drive for growth and excellent sales training in their career. We utilize forward thinking programs (Sandler, Scorecard and others) along with manufacturer training for initial and ongoing training.

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification required
2-5 years of experience in B2B outside sales is ideal BUT if you are hungry and passionate, let’s talk!

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to sit or stand as needed
Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or pulling or lifting as required filing documents and storing materials.
Work environment: Ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment
